JDM Engineering Return Policy
At JDM Engineering, your satisfaction is our priority. We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase. If you need to return an item, please follow these guidelines:
Eligibility for Returns:
Timeframe:
You may return eligible items within 30 days of purchase for a full refund (minus original shipping and discounts). Returns made between 31 and 45 days may be eligible for store credit.
Condition:
Items must be in new, unused condition with all original packaging and materials. Installed, damaged, or altered items may not be eligible for return.
Authorization: All returns require authorization (RMA). Please contact us for an RMA number and instructions. Unauthorized returns may be subject to fees.
Non-Returnable Items:
Special Orders: Special order items are not eligible for return.
Electronics: Electronics (including lighting, computers, etc.) and opened software are not returnable.
Installed Items: Installed items, engine parts, tuning products, supercharger kits, exhaust systems, and other parts that show signs of use are not returnable.
Restocking Fees:
A minimum 20% restocking fee may apply to all returns. Unauthorized returns may be subject to additional fees.
Return Shipping:
Customer Responsibility: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We can provide a UPS shipping label at cost.
Packaging: Please pack items securely to prevent damage during transit. JDM Engineering is not responsible for damage caused by inadequate packaging.
Return Process:
Contact Us: Obtain an RMA number and return instructions.
Pack & Ship: Pack the item securely and ship it to the address provided with your RMA.
Refund/Credit: Once we receive and process your return, we will issue a refund or store credit as applicable.
Additional Notes:
Partial Returns: Partial returns of sets or kits will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Defective Items: Defective items may be covered under the manufacturer's warranty.
International Returns: Customs duties and taxes for international shipments are the customer's responsibility.
Order Issues (Shortages, Damage, Incorrect Item):
Notification: Please notify us within 72 hours of receiving your order if there are any issues.
Documentation: Photos are required for all damage claims and incorrect item claims.
We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not meet these guidelines.
Custom Duties & Taxes:
Shipments outside of the USA may incur customs fees depending on the destination country. The fee may vary depending on your order value, country limits, and other factors based on the product itself. Per regulated shipping rules, the end customer is responsible for these fees. Any fees are paid to appropriate customs agencies by the end user.
Order Shortages/Damage/Incorrect Item Received:
As our valued customer, you are responsible for alerting us of any missing, incorrect, or damaged items within 72 hours of receipt of package so we may promptly correct the order for you. Failure to do so releases us from any further liability. Pictures are required for All damage claims, order shortages, & claims of incorrect part(s). When filing a lost/damaged package claim, replacements and refunds will not be fulfilled until the claim is processed and approved.
