The most harmful thing to your ecoboost pony is heat soak ! The factory intercooler is extremely restrictive and lacks efficient cooling capabilities which the ecoboost mustang requires. It has been dyno proven that horsepower and torque numbers drop 50+ from the first pull to the second with the stock intercooler. Mishimotos Intercooler MMINT-MUS4-15SL provides 35 degree air intake temperature drops due to their 58% increase in core size and 165% increase in external fin surface area.
This intercooler is a must have for any tuned or modified Ecoboost Mustang !

The added hot and cold side charge pipes are 2.5" and 2.75" mandrel bent aluminum piping for even more added power and better cooling due to the less restrictive pipes and heat resistance fibers embedded into the pipes.
